One of the approach roads to Casale Coccinella is potentially difficult for some vehicles and after dark. You are strongly recommended if this is your first visit to use the suggested via point which ensures you use the best approach road.

Approach from West (Rome, Florence, Perugia Airport) without Satnav

Head for Spoleto and just north of Spoleto on the bypass take the turning for Cascia/Norcia and then after 1km through a 4km tunnel. 500m after the tunnel the road arcs left and you travel north along the very beautiful Valnerina. A few minutes after the village of Casali Belforti take the right turn towards Preci and Norcia (Bar Angolo is on the corner).

As you approach Preci there is a restaurant (Il Castoro) on the left. Turn left here and the immediately left again in the direction of Il Collaccio, Ristorante Al Porcello Felice, and Castelvecchio. Take the small road down the left side of the village of Castelvecchio. Casale Coccinella is 200m on the right.

Approach from East (Adriatic, Ancona Airport) without Satnav

Head for Civitanova Marche motorway exit and then to Visso. Follow the hairpin right turn in Visso on to the Valnerina Rd. Follow the road through the hamlet of Cervera (do not turn left here) and then shortly afterwards turn left towards Preci and Norcia (Bar Angolo is on the left just after the corner).

As you approach Preci there is a restaurant (Il Castoro) on the left. Turn left here and the immediately left again up the hill in the direction of Il Collaccio, Ristorante Al Porcello Felice, and Castelvecchio. Take the small road down the left side of the village of Castelvecchio. Casale Coccinella is 200m on the right.

Avvicinamento da Ovest (Roma, Firenze, Perugia Aeroporto) senza navigatore satellitare

Dirigersi verso Spoleto e appena a nord di Spoleto sulla tangenziale prendere il bivio per Cascia / Norcia e poi dopo 1 km attraverso un tunnel di 4 km. 500 mt dopo la galleria la strada piega a sinistra e si prosegue verso nord lungo la bellissima Valnerina. Pochi minuti dopo l'abitato di Casali Belforti svoltare a destra in direzione Preci e Norcia (angolo Bar Angolo).

Quando ci si avvicina a Preci c'è un ristorante (Il Castoro) sulla sinistra. Qui si svolta a sinistra e subito a sinistra in direzione Il Collaccio, Ristorante Al Porcello Felice e Castelvecchio. Si prende la stradina che scende sul lato sinistro del paese di Castelvecchio. Casale Coccinella è 200 mt sulla destra.

Avvicinamento da est (Adriatico, aeroporto di Ancona) senza navigatore satellitare

Dirigersi verso l'uscita autostradale di Civitanova Marche e poi per Visso. Seguire il tornante a destra a Visso per la Valnerina Road. Si segue la strada che attraversa la frazione di Cervera (qui non si svolta a sinistra) e poco dopo si svolta a sinistra in direzione Preci e Norcia (subito dopo l'angolo si trova il Bar Angolo sulla sinistra).

Quando ci si avvicina a Preci c'è un ristorante (Il Castoro) sulla sinistra. Qui si gira a sinistra e subito a sinistra su per la collina in direzione Il Collaccio, Ristorante Al Porcello Felice e Castelvecchio. Si prende la stradina che scende sul lato sinistro del paese di Castelvecchio. Casale Coccinella è 200 mt sulla destra.
